If the health of the liver is not taken care of, it can easily get damaged. It can make us suffer from many diseases. which can sometimes be life-threatening. A properly functioning liver is essential for good health for a number of reasons. However, the important thing is that the liver is needed to digest everything we eat. Like an infection, too much alcohol consumption, certain medicines, drugs, obesity and cancer etc. Although different diseases can occur due to different reasons, but most of the liver diseases damage the organ in almost the same way. They look similar and have similar symptoms. Often times a liver disease and related symptoms develop very quickly and can have many causes, but most liver diseases are chronic.

1-Turmeric:

2- Pomelo:

This fruit is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants that help the liver clean toxins. A study has shown that components in grapefruit activate chemicals that reduce the risk of fatty deposits on the liver.

3- Apple:

By using apple, the cholesterol level in the body remains correct. Apple is rich in malic acid, which helps in cleaning the blood and liver. Apples also have antioxidant properties that are essential for liver health.

4-Green leafy vegetables:

Green leafy vegetables like spinach and fenugreek etc. should be included in your diet. The more green vegetables are consumed, the better this habit is for the liver. These vegetables help in cleaning the liver naturally.

5-Onions:

Onions contain a compound called alyssum that keeps the liver and digestive tract clean, and onions are also rich in potassium phytonutrients  that help the body fight colds and other ailments.

6- Lentils:

Pulses are also beneficial for the liver. They contain plant-derived protein. Excess protein can be harmful in liver disease, while pulses contain a balanced amount of protein.

7-Excessive water consumption:

Dehydration causes various problems in the body including liver function. Consuming eight to 10 glasses of water daily improves the liver’s cleansing process which is very important to protect it from diseases.

8-Vitamin C:

Vitamin C-rich foods like citrus fruits and vegetables reduce the risk of fatty deposits in the liver by scavenging harmful substances.

9-Omega-3 Fatty Acids:

According to nutritionists, the consumption of junk food should be reduced, while the consumption of foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids should be increased. The fat in junk food accumulates on the liver, which causes inflammation and other diseases.
